Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a general practice and urgent care hybrid hospital seeking a Veterinarian to join their team. This role is ideal for an energetic, well-rounded doctor who thrives in both GP and urgent care settings, enjoys handling a diverse caseload, and values a collaborative and positive culture.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The hospital is closed on Sundays. There are no overnight or on-call duties, and scheduling is designed to support flexibility and work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will manage a wide variety of cases, ranging from routine wellness care to urgent and more complex presentations. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, surgery, diagnostics, and preventive medicine. The role is suited for an experienced veterinarian who is a strong communicator, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing gold-standard care while continuing to learn and grow.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a fast-paced environment with access to boarded specialists for consults and a loyal client base that values high-quality care. It is fully equipped with a diagnostic laboratory, ultrasound, radiology, electrocardiography, and surgical capabilities. Services include alternative therapies, acupuncture, chiropractic care, wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, parasite prevention, OFA and PennHIP evaluations, prescription diets, and a full range of surgical and diagnostic options. The practice culture is collaborative, client-focused, and emphasizes flexibility, professional growth, and self-care.

Team
The hospital has five DVMs supported by a highly trained team. The environment is collaborative and positive, ensuring veterinarians are well supported and never practice alone.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
