Our client is a hospital providing care for small animal patients and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in North Carolina. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers the chance to work within a collaborative multi-doctor environment supported by experienced veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and reception staff. With a strong commitment to clinical excellence, continuing education, and compassionate patient care, the hospital provides an excellent environment for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to develop their skills.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include performing wellness examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, educating clients on preventative healthcare, and collaborating closely with the veterinary and support teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Clinical exposure includes preventative care, diagnostic medicine, pain management, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, surgery, and dentistry. The role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine while contributing to a culture focused on teamwork, learning, and professional growth. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service small animal practice equipped with a complete in-house laboratory, digital radiology, and a dedicated dental suite. Services offered include preventative care, diagnostic care, pain management, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, veterinary surgery, and pet dental services. The practice places a strong emphasis on continuing education and maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine through ongoing professional development for all team members. Veterinarians benefit from access to modern equipment and a collaborative clinical environment designed to support quality patient care and positive client experiences. Hospital hours are Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Team
The hospital is staffed by 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and education-focused, with nearly 50 years of combined veterinary experience across the doctor team. Veterinarians work closely together to share knowledge, support one another, and provide compassionate, state-of-the-art veterinary care to patients and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
