Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. With a focus on small and companion animals, this well-established practice has been supported by a wonderful client base for over 30 years and offers an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality patient care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves providing the full scope of GP responsibilities, including preventative care, diagnostics, medicine, surgery, dentistry, and client communication. Specific hours are to be discussed further. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with students and early-career veterinarians benefiting from dedicated mentorship and ongoing clinical support.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Wednesday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 3:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. They provide a full scope of GP services and are equipped with Digital X-Ray, Digital Dental X-Ray, and an In-House Laboratory. Facilities include an In-Office Surgical Suite and an In-House Pharmacy. The practice is AAHA-accredited and follows Fear Free principles. Additional services include Cold Laser Therapy and DNA Breed Testing.
Team
You will be joining a team of 2 DVMs, supported by 10 dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
