A modern, locally led small animal hospital in Hermosa Beach, California is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its close-knit clinical team. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. It is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. Thursday and Saturday shifts run from 8:00am to 6:00pm on an alternating basis. The role offers flexibility with either full-time or adjusted rotas, supporting consistent daytime hours and a strong work-life balance without overnight or on-call duties.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive primary care for dogs and cats, managing a varied caseload that includes wellness visits, preventative care, diagnostics, and medical case management. You will have the autonomy to make sound clinical decisions while working collaboratively with experienced colleagues and a skilled support team. Clear, compassionate client communication and a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to medicine are central to the role. Mentorship is tailored to individual experience levels, making this position suitable for both confident early-career veterinarians and experienced clinicians seeking long-term growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
