Introduction
This well-established small animal hospital in Henderson, Nevada is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. Originally founded as a feline-exclusive practice over 30 years ago, the hospital is expanding into full-service care for both dogs and cats while maintaining its strong reputation for feline medicine. With one experienced veterinarian, excellent technician support, and a collaborative culture, this is an ideal opportunity for a doctor looking to practice high-quality medicine with genuine clinical autonomy. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends, providing an excellent work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll manage a varied small animal caseload including preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and client education. You’ll be encouraged to practice medicine your way while working alongside a highly supportive technical team that allows you to focus on patient care. The role offers clinical autonomy, mentorship, and the opportunity to help shape the hospital as it expands its services to include canine patients.
Practice Details
Established for more than 30 years, this modern general practice is transitioning from a feline-only hospital into a full-service dog and cat clinic. The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, surgical laser technology, and additional advanced diagnostic equipment, supporting a wide range of medical and surgical cases in a progressive clinical environment.

You’ll join a close-knit team led by one experienced veterinarian, supported by a strong technician and assistant team. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and free from unnecessary internal competition, with a focus on teamwork, clinical excellence, and providing every doctor with the support needed to thrive.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
