Job Description
Introduction
This established small animal practice in Henderson, Nevada is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team of three veterinarians. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other companion animals, combining advanced medical technology with a strong focus on compassionate, client-centred care. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, with Sundays closed to support a healthy work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and medical case management while developing lasting relationships with clients and their pets. You’ll work closely with the Medical Director and experienced support team to deliver high-quality medicine, with a particular opportunity for veterinarians who enjoy surgery and want to continue developing their surgical skills. New graduates are also encouraged to apply and will benefit from mentorship within a supportive clinical environment.
Practice Details
This full-service companion animal hospital is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, surgical and therapeutic laser technology, and modern diagnostic equipment to support a wide range of medical and surgical procedures. The practice provides care for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other companion animals, offering everything from routine wellness and dentistry to advanced surgery in a progressive clinical setting.
Team
You’ll join a team of three veterinarians supported by experienced technicians and long-standing support staff who value collaboration, communication, and high-quality patient care. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
