Job Description
Introduction
This small animal hospital in Henderson, Nevada is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. The practice is focused on progressive, evidence-based medicine and is building a collaborative clinical culture where doctors have the autonomy to manage their cases while benefiting from the support of the wider veterinary team. The position is suited to a veterinarian with at least two years of clinical experience looking for a long-term opportunity to continue developing their medical and surgical skills.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a schedule structured around maintaining a sustainable work-life balance. The rota includes rotating weekend shifts, with the wider working pattern designed to provide consistency while supporting the needs of both the veterinary team and its patients.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive small animal medicine across preventative care, diagnostics, medical case management, routine surgery and dentistry. You’ll have autonomy when developing diagnostic and treatment plans while collaborating with fellow veterinarians and support staff on patient care. The role also involves building strong client relationships through clear communication and contributing to a positive clinical culture, with continued learning and professional development encouraged.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
