Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join a small animal practice caring for cats and dogs. Since 2001, the hospital has built a strong reputation within the community by providing high-quality veterinary care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to develop their careers within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will diagnose and treat patients, perform surgical and dental procedures, educate clients, and work collaboratively with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and educational programs available to help support career development and long-term professional growth.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. Services include wellness care, testing and diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery, and urgent care. The practice utilizes top-of-the-line equipment, including x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, and a dedicated surgical suite to support the delivery of high-quality veterinary medicine.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a fantastic team of support staff. The practice has created a collaborative environment where every team member is supported in achieving their professional goals. You’ll be joining colleagues who consistently prioritize quality medicine while treating one another and their clients like family.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
