Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Cooperstown, New York. The practice has been providing care for small animal patients since 1988 and offers a welcoming environment for veterinarians looking to work within a friendly and laid-back team. With a caseload that includes wellness care, sick visits, and urgent care, this opportunity is well suited to experienced veterinarians seeking a varied and rewarding clinical role.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical care for small animal patients, managing wellness visits, sick appointments, and urgent care cases. The role offers opportunities to develop surgical skills while working closely with an experienced team. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care, building strong client relationships, and contributing to a collaborative practice environment. This position is intended for experienced veterinarians.

Hospital hours are Monday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
