Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for dogs, cats, and exotics, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-equipped companion animal practice offering a diverse caseload within a supportive clinical environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of GP responsibilities, providing high-quality preventative, medical, and surgical care across a varied caseload of companion animals and exotics. You will be responsible for consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, and client education while working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. There are no on-call responsibilities, supporting a healthy work-life balance. The position is open to veterinarians of all experience levels.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00am to 9:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm for emergency cases only. The practice provides the full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care, allowing clinicians to manage a broad and rewarding caseload. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, Ultrasound, Dental Radiography, a Surgical Laser, Digital Radiography, and an In-House Laboratory, providing the technology needed to confidently diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical conditions across companion animals and exotics.
Team
You will be joining a team of 4 DVMs, supported by a dedicated team that includes 14 Veterinary Assistants and 2 Registered Veterinary Technicians. Together, the team works collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining an efficient and supportive clinical environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
