Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a busy small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital sees cats, dogs, and exotics, and provides full-service general practice care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, with Sundays closed. Work-life balance is a clear priority, with doctors enjoying a 4-day workweek and a 5-day weekend once a month. There is also flexibility to choose a flex role with 12 shifts every 4 weeks. The hospital is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full general practice role, and candidates must be experienced. Responsibilities will include the full spectrum of GP duties, encompassing preventive care, diagnostics, medical workups, dentistry, and surgery as appropriate.

Practice Details
The hospital is very well equipped and offers full-service general practice care. It maintains a high standard of medicine and a diverse caseload that includes exotics.

Team
The team consists of five DVMs and a strong support staff. The environment is described as collaborative with a great team dynamic.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
