Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is a small animal practice treating cats and dogs.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a schedule of four weekdays and rotating Saturdays. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion. The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm, Wednesday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays.

This role involves full general practice responsibilities and is suited for an experienced veterinarian with solid clinical experience who’s ready to bring fresh ideas to the table. The caseload includes surgery, dentistry, wellness, internal medicine, and more.

Practice Details
This full-service hospital offers a range of services including surgery, dentistry, wellness and sick visits, preventative care, in-house bloodwork, and more. The clinic is fully equipped to practice good medicine, and if you’re thinking about expanding your skill set or services — such as small farm animals or ultrasound — they’re ready to grow with you.

Team
The hospital is staffed by three DVMs and supported by a team of over six support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
