Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering either full-time or part-time opportunities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality care across a range of general practice services, including wellness exams, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic workups, developing treatment plans, conducting surgical procedures, and delivering dental care. You will also maintain accurate medical records, communicate effectively with clients, and collaborate closely with the team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, supported by a flexible schedule and a strong, team-oriented environment.

Practice Details
This is an AAHA-accredited hospital that has maintained accreditation since 1992, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to high standards of care. The practice operates on an appointment-based model and utilizes electronic medical records to support efficient workflows. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, microchipping, health screenings, surgery, dentistry, end-of-life care, laser therapy, and radiology. The hospital exclusively treats dogs and cats and also has access to a neighboring boarding and daycare facility. The schedule is flexible, with hospital hours Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, and closed on Sunday, including a daily break from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, with multiple staff members having been with the practice for over a decade, creating a stable, collaborative, and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
