Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice providing veterinary care for dogs and cats near Wilmington, North Carolina, and is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and provides comprehensive small animal care within a collaborative environment that supports individual career growth.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive general practice care, including wellness and preventive medicine, sick and illness visits, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, anesthesia, general surgery, diagnostic imaging, and comprehensive dental care. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The practice provides wellness and preventive medicine, sick pet care, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, anesthesia and general surgery, digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house diagnostics, and comprehensive dental care with dental radiography. The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on weekends.

Team
The practice has three DVMs and a great tenured support team. The working environment is collaborative and provides opportunities for individual career growth while focusing on quality veterinary care for the local community.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
