Introduction
Our client is a full-service companion animal hospital in Hahira, GA seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their thriving practice. The hospital is committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care in a welcoming environment, supported by modern facilities and a dedicated team. They see cats and dogs and offer both general practice and urgent care cases, making this an excellent opportunity for veterinarians at any career stage.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm. This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options and the possibility of expanded hours, including Saturdays, to better serve the community. No overnight or after-hours emergency requirements.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care including wellness, preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics. Responsibilities include examining and diagnosing patients, performing surgery, prescribing medication, advising owners on pet health, and using modern medical equipment. Veterinarians are also expected to collaborate closely with colleagues, mentor team members, and support a positive, patient-focused culture. This position is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians.

The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities, including digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, and in-house blood analyzers. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccination, dental care, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, nutrition, diagnostics, and surgery. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
