Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian for either a full-time or part-time opportunity working with dogs and cats. This position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian seeking to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative and supportive environment with access to advanced equipment and a skilled veterinary team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive patient care including physical examinations, diagnostics, preventive medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Responsibilities include developing diagnostic and treatment plans, interpreting laboratory and diagnostic results, maintaining accurate medical records, and managing hospitalized patients. The role involves performing routine and complex surgeries including spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory procedures, and mass removals, as well as advanced dental procedures with extractions and oral surgery. Additional duties include participating in rounds, collaborating closely with support staff, and contributing to a high standard of patient and client communication. This opportunity is suited to experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details
This full-service veterinary hospital provides routine wellness care, illness and injury treatment, vaccinations and microchipping, and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention services for dogs and cats. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology including ultrasound, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital radiography. The practice promotes a collaborative culture focused on teamwork, quality medicine, and continuous professional growth. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and closed Sunday.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
