Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for small animals. This is a well-established, community-focused general practice that has been delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for over 25 years, offering an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. Hospital opening hours are Monday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a mix of wellness, surgical, dental, and urgent care services. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, performing procedures, and advising clients on preventative care and long-term health. The role requires collaboration with the wider team to deliver high-quality patient care and build strong client relationships. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is a general practice offering a diverse caseload including wellness care, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. Equipment and facilities include digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory capabilities. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, illness and injury treatment, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter procedures, parasite prevention, deworming, microchipping, and end-of-life care. The practice promotes a collaborative, high-touch environment focused on communication, teamwork, and personalized patient care.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
