An AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Gresham, Oregon is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its growing clinical team. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is currently open Monday to Thursday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, offering a structured daytime schedule that supports work-life balance. As the veterinary team expands, additional days and hours are expected to be introduced, creating opportunities for flexible scheduling. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals, primarily dogs and cats. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, performing routine procedures, and educating clients on preventative care and long-term pet health. The role also involves collaborating closely with the hospital’s Medical Director and support staff to maintain high clinical standards and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.

The practice utilizes hands-free radiology safety protocols and modern diagnostic equipment to support effective patient care. Team
The hospital is currently led by one experienced Medical Director, supported by a skilled veterinary nursing and client care team that fosters a positive and collaborative workplace culture. As the practice grows, the team is expanding to support increased demand and continued service to the community.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
