Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited small animal practice. The clinic provides care for dogs, cats, and exotic species, and is looking for a veterinarian to contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality, progressive medicine.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position with rotating Saturday coverage and no after-hours or on-call requirements, supporting a balanced and predictable schedule.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care including preventative medicine, wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and chronic disease management. The role involves treating a variety of species including companion animals and exotics, offering a diverse and engaging caseload. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, performing medical and surgical procedures, and building strong client relationships through clear communication and education. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship and support available to help develop clinical skills and confidence.

The hospital is an AAHA-accredited facility offering a wide range of services including primary care, preventative medicine, radiology, dentistry, and surgical procedures. Team

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
