Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive small animal veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative, multi-doctor team. This is a high-volume practice with a loyal client base, offering a diverse caseload and strong support for veterinarians at all experience levels.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. There are no specified after-hours requirements, with nearby urgent care facilities available to assist with out-of-hours cases.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload, including both appointments and surgical procedures, while delivering care through a relationship-based approach with clients. Responsibilities include collaborating with the clinical team, building strong client relationships within the community, and supporting the development of support staff through internal training initiatives. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This is a multi-doctor small animal hospital that has been serving the local community for many years, offering a wide range of services including wellness care, urgent care, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery, grooming, microchipping, parasite prevention, pain management, and end-of-life care. The clinic is equipped with digital radiographs, ultrasound, a surgical laser, an in-house diagnostic laboratory, a dedicated surgery suite, and 24-hour patient hospitalization capabilities. The practice fosters a collaborative culture focused on high-quality medicine, individualized care, and professional growth within a supportive environment.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive workplace where multiple veterinarians work together daily.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
