Our client is a hospital providing care for small animals, pocket pets, and rabbits and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Greenville, North Carolina. Established in 1987, the practice has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary care and maintaining lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care while building trusted relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, performing wellness and preventative care, educating clients on healthcare recommendations, and collaborating with a skilled support team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Clinical exposure includes wellness and prevention, diagnostics, urgent care, advanced medicine, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, pain management, acupuncture, laser therapy, surgery, and dentistry. The role also includes the care of pocket pets and rabbits, providing preventative medicine, diagnostics, treatment, and client education tailored to these species. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited facility dedicated to delivering comprehensive veterinary care through wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care services. Additional services include internal medicine, pain management, oncology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, acupuncture, laser therapy, pocket pet care, rabbit care, spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, and dental surgery. The practice maintains rigorous standards across all aspects of patient care, diagnostics, anesthesiology, and surgery in accordance with AAHA accreditation requirements. Veterinarians benefit from a collaborative environment, professional development resources, and the infrastructure needed to practice high-quality medicine. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
