Introduction
Our client is a mixed animal hospital that has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality veterinary care to a diverse client base. They are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established and collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a true mixed animal practice that sees a wide variety of species, including canines, felines, bovines, equine patients, and other livestock such as goats and farm animals. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates during regular daytime hours, opening Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, with the practice closed on Sundays. The position is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, and the team is happy to discuss flexible scheduling arrangements to suit individual needs. There are no out-of-hours or emergency care requirements associated with this role, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, the Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care using a relationship-based approach that prioritizes both patient wellbeing and client communication. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload that includes both medical appointments and surgical procedures during normal operating hours. Collaboration is central to the hospital’s culture, and the Associate Veterinarian will work closely with the clinical team and leadership to deliver comprehensive care across a wide range of medical and surgical cases. The practice encourages professional development and supports veterinarians in pursuing their individual clinical interests and career goals. Practice Details
The hospital is a well-established mixed animal practice that has proudly served its community since 1938 and continues to uphold a strong commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine. The practice is equipped with advanced technology, including digital radiology, a dedicated surgical suite, therapeutic laser therapy, and comprehensive large animal equipment. The team offers a wide range of services, including general medicine and wellness care, reproductive health services, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, spay and neuter procedures, ultrasonography, dermatology, radiology, dentistry, tonometry, and advanced anesthesia and patient monitoring.

Team
The Associate Veterinarian will join a multi-doctor practice made up of three experienced DVMs who value collaboration, mentorship, and shared clinical decision-making. The veterinary team is supported by a highly skilled and dedicated group of technicians and support staff, creating an efficient and well-organized working environment. This strong support structure allows veterinarians to focus on delivering excellent patient care while benefiting from teamwork and ongoing professional guidance.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
