Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice supports both small animals and mixed animal medicine, offering a diverse caseload and opportunities for growth. This role is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, from recent graduates to seasoned professionals.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The position offers a four-day work week with no weekend shifts, ensuring a strong work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a variety of cases across small and mixed animal medicine, with responsibilities including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, pain management, and orthopedic procedures. The position is open to experienced doctors, with strong mentorship available to support career development.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and surgical facilities. Services offered include preventative care, surgery, dental care, pain management, orthopedic surgery, and boarding, alongside large animal services. The practice culture is supportive, fun, and collaborative, with a strong focus on mentorship and professional growth.

Team
The hospital is staffed by two veterinarians supported by a dedicated team. The environment is team-oriented and mentoring-focused, fostering collaboration and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
