Introduction
Our client is a mixed animal practice hiring for a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian. This clinic, located in the scenic Ozark Mountains, provides care for a diverse patient base including small animals, large animals, and exotic species. They are seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join their team and contribute to their mission of delivering exceptional, community-centered care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on weekends. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling to help achieve a healthy work-life balance, with customizable shifts available to suit the candidate’s needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will engage in a variety of clinical responsibilities including preventative care, surgery, urgent care, dentistry, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasonography, and bovine reproductive health. The role offers exposure to a caseload consisting of approximately 50% small animals, 40% large animals, and 10% exotic/pocket pets. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Mentorship and support are available to help new professionals grow confidently in their careers.

Practice Details
The clinic is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house diagnostic labs, orthopedic and dental care capabilities, and an on-site crematorium. The practice provides a wide range of services including surgery, dentistry, in-house diagnostics, reproductive health for cattle, medical and vacation boarding, and more. The caseload is varied and dynamic, reflecting the diverse needs of the surrounding community.

Team
The team includes a collaborative group of two veterinarians and a supportive staff. The practice culture emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and community engagement, offering an environment where both experienced doctors and new graduates can thrive.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
