Job Description

Introduction
A well-established small animal practice in Grants Pass, Oregon is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its growing four-doctor team. Known for its strong community presence and collaborative approach to care, this opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian looking to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive environment with a loyal client base and consistent caseload.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends, offering a structured schedule with no on-call or weekend requirements, supporting an excellent work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care including wellness exams, diagnostics, medical case management, surgery, and dentistry, while building strong client relationships through clear communication and compassionate care, and collaborating closely with the wider team to maintain high clinical standards.

Practice Details
This established general practice offers a full range of services for companion animals within a collaborative and team-oriented environment, supported by a growing client base and a culture that emphasizes medical quality, shared learning, and continuous development, alongside the backing of a wider veterinary network providing additional resources and career progression opportunities.

Team
You will join a team of four veterinarians supported by experienced technicians and dedicated support staff, working in a collaborative setting that values mentorship, open communication, and delivering consistent, high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
