Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a privately owned small group of hospitals across North Carolina seeking an Associate Veterinarian for their 3-doctor practice. The hospital has proudly served its local community for over 30 years and continues to deliver personalized, compassionate care to dogs and cats with a strong focus on kindness and family values.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on weekends. The urgent care section of the hospital operates separately, opening from Friday evening through Sunday evening. This role involves daytime shifts during the week, with a flexible schedule that can accommodate either full-time or part-time availability, depending on your needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position includes all typical general practice duties and responsibilities. The hospital is open to veterinarians at any stage of their career, whether experienced or newly graduated, and offers a supportive environment to help professionals grow and thrive.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with in-house laboratories, digital radiographs, and a dedicated dental suite featuring digital dental radiography. The facility is designed with comfort and well-being in mind, boasting a bright and airy layout with ample natural light. Services offered range from wellness checks and surgery to digital radiography, an in-house lab, and an in-house pharmacy.

Team
You’ll be joining a collaborative 3-doctor team supported by a skilled and experienced support staff. The hospital fosters a welcoming and team-focused atmosphere, ideal for veterinarians who value mentorship and teamwork in delivering high-quality care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
