Job Description
Introduction
This AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced team of five veterinarians. The practice is known for delivering compassionate, high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment where teamwork, clinical excellence, and continuous learning are central to its culture. This position is expected to become available in Summer 2027, offering an excellent opportunity for veterinarians looking to plan their next career move.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for dogs and cats while building trusted relationships with clients and their pets. You’ll diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions, perform preventative care, surgery, and dentistry, communicate treatment plans clearly, and collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding patient outcomes. The hospital encourages case discussion, knowledge sharing, and ongoing professional development to help every veterinarian continue growing clinically.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00am to 8:00pm and is closed on Sundays. As an AAHA-accredited practice, the hospital is committed to maintaining the highest standards of veterinary medicine while providing comprehensive small animal care in a supportive clinical environment. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
