Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for cats and dogs since 1996, this AAHA-accredited practice has built a reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary care and offers a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, supportive team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
If you enjoy getting hands-on with surgery and dentistry, this role offers plenty of opportunity to do just that while still enjoying the variety that comes with general practice. You’ll be involved in the full scope of GP responsibilities, including consultations, preventative care, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, and client communication, with a particular emphasis on developing and utilising your surgical and dental skills. Specific working hours will be determined. Whether you’re a seasoned surgeon or a newer graduate looking to sharpen your skills with strong mentorship, this is a great opportunity to do what you love in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday and Wednesday from 7:30am to 7:00pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with Sundays closed. They provide a full scope of GP services in an AAHA-accredited practice committed to delivering high standards of patient care. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, digital dental and full-body radiography, modern surgical suites, in-house laboratories, high-speed dental units, and advanced anesthesia monitoring.
Team
You’ll be joining an experienced team of 8 DVMs, alongside dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who genuinely enjoy working together. The leadership team is supportive and invested in helping their associates succeed, creating an environment where collaboration, open communication, and high-quality patient care come naturally.
