Our client is a veterinary hospital located in Glenwood, Maryland, and they are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian, with openness to part-time applications, to join their established and dedicated team. The hospital provides veterinary care to a diverse range of animals, from small pets to large farm and equine patients, and is known for delivering compassionate, high-quality medicine in a warm and professional environment. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday from 8:30am to 12:30pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. This role is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, with flexibility available based on individual preferences. There are no after-hours or emergency on-call requirements outlined for this position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based veterinary care across a varied caseload. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, dentistry, diagnostics, surgical procedures including TPLO surgeries, laser therapy, and ongoing patient care across all life stages. The role also includes the option of working with both small animals and large animals, including equine cases. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates, with support available to help clinicians develop confidence and progress in their careers while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care.

Practice Details
The hospital operates out of a modern, state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced veterinary technology to support comprehensive in-house care. The practice offers a wide range of services including diagnostics, dental care, surgery, TPLO procedures, laser therapy, equine and large animal services, and more. The hospital culture is centered around compassionate medicine, personalized client service, and strong collaboration, with an emphasis on supporting both patient outcomes and clinician wellbeing.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
