Our client is a full-service, AAHA-accredited small animal practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their experienced and high-performing medical team. They provide veterinary care for dogs and cats and have proudly served the Glen Allen community since 2000. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with Sundays closed. The position may accommodate full-time or part-time scheduling, with no additional after-hours required beyond these stated operating hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves delivering high-quality small animal care across wellness and prevention, diagnostics, reproductive medicine, surgery, anesthesia, radiology, and dental care. You will have the opportunity to practice advanced medicine in an environment that values collaboration, thorough case workups, and individualized patient care. The clinical focus includes general practice and access to specialized reproductive services. The position is open to both new graduates and experienced doctors, supported by a strong clinical team and immediate access to internal specialty consultations when complex cases arise.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital offers comprehensive services including full medical diagnostics and treatment, dentistry, surgery, emergency care, reproductive services, an in-house pharmacy, digital radiology including OFA and PennHIP imaging, anesthesia, radiology, ultrasound, and preventative and geriatric wellness. The practice maintains advanced reproductive specialty capabilities through PennHIP-certified veterinarians with Theriogenology Diplomate credentials. The environment is collaborative, structured, and designed to support continued learning and professional development while allowing veterinarians to focus fully on providing exceptional care.

The practice is home to 5 DVMs, supported by a brilliant and dedicated team of support staff. The culture emphasizes teamwork, professional development, and maintaining a consistently high medical standard across all services.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
