Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their established small animal practice serving the Glen Allen and greater Richmond community since 2006. The hospital is dedicated to providing comprehensive small animal medicine while treating every pet like family and maintaining strong relationships with the community it serves.

Working Hours / Rota
This position is part-time. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include performing examinations, diagnosing and treating conditions, developing treatment plans, and clearly communicating findings and recommendations to pet owners. The role also involves collaborating with the veterinary and support team to maintain high clinical standards and contribute to a positive hospital culture. This position is open to experienced veterinarians or new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital has been serving the Glen Allen community since 2006, providing comprehensive veterinary care with a focus on patient wellbeing and client service. The facility supports progressive veterinary medicine with in-house digital X-ray, a well-stocked pharmacy, a dedicated in-hospital surgery suite, and a supervised hospitalization and intensive care area. Services offered include Wellness & Prevention, Testing & Diagnostics, Advanced Care, Surgical Procedures, and Urgent Care. The practice emphasizes collaboration, continuing education, and professional development while maintaining a supportive team culture.

Team
The hospital is supported by 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative environment where veterinarians and staff work together to deliver high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
