Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. Caring for dogs and cats, this opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian looking to provide high-quality medicine in a collaborative small animal practice with a strong emphasis on work-life balance, modern technology, and individualized patient care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive wellness, diagnostic, dental, and surgical care for canine and feline patients. You will build lasting client relationships through education and communication while collaborating with the veterinary team to enhance workflows and maintain high medical standards. The role also includes contributing to a positive, team-focused culture dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The practice is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and offers no weekends or after-hours responsibilities. Equipment includes a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, dental radiographs, ultrasound, surgical monitoring equipment, and electronic medical records. Services offered include wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, radiology, flea control, dermatology, cardiology, spay and neuter procedures, and soft tissue surgery. The hospital is a full-service small animal practice that provides current medical and surgical treatment options for pets at every life stage and has undergone extensive renovations in both appearance and technology.
Team
The practice is supported by experienced veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, and a caring front desk team. Licensed veterinary technicians are fully utilized in surgery, recovery, and client liaison responsibilities, creating a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care and client service.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
