Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering either full-time or part-time opportunities working with dogs and cats.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care, including comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, surgery, and internal medicine. Daily duties include performing medical work-ups, carrying out surgical procedures, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role also involves strong client communication, educating pet owners, and ensuring continuity of care through case monitoring and participation in daily rounds. You will collaborate closely with the Hospital Manager and wider team to support hospital operations, maintain protocols, and promote a positive, efficient working environment. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This hospital operates from a state-of-the-art 7,000 square foot facility featuring 10 exam rooms, a comfort room, a large treatment and ICU area, separate dental and surgical suites, an indoor equine treatment area, and an outdoor cattle working facility. The practice is equipped with advanced technology including an in-house IDEXX laboratory, surgical and therapy lasers, digital radiography including dental, ultrasound, and orthopedic surgical equipment. As an AAHA-accredited hospital, it provides a wide range of services including wellness exams, vaccinations and preventive care, internal medicine, emergency care during clinic hours, dental care, surgery including orthopedic procedures, acupuncture, geriatric care, reproduction services, and boarding. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, supporting a diverse caseload in a collaborative and well-supported environment.

Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
