Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs, with a broad range of general practice, surgical, urgent, and emergency services available to its patients.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and ongoing case management. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with doctor hours open to discussion depending on the successful candidate’s preferences.

Practice Details
The practice is well equipped, with in-house laboratory capabilities, digital dental radiography, digital radiography, ultrasound, and additional equipment to support a varied small animal caseload. Services include the full scope of general practice care, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, alongside orthopedic surgery and the management of urgent and emergency cases during business hours. The hospital is open Monday from 8am to 8pm, Tuesday through Friday from 8am to 6pm, Saturday from 8am to 4pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.

Team
The veterinary team consists of three DVMs alongside a great team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
