Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its established team. The practice provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats and has served its community since 1983. The hospital offers a broad mix of preventative, medical, surgical, dental and advanced care, with a strong focus on compassionate teamwork, client relationships and high-quality general practice medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care across a varied small animal caseload. Responsibilities include wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management and client education. The role also includes performing routine and advanced surgical procedures such as spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, CCL repair, TPLO surgery, orthopedic surgery and dental surgery. The veterinarian will diagnose and treat medical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, communicate clearly with clients and collaborate with the wider hospital team to deliver high-quality patient care. A DVM degree and valid state veterinary license in good standing are required.

Practice Details
The hospital provides comprehensive wellness and preventative care, dentistry, diagnostics, internal medicine, dermatology, cardiology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, behavior therapy, health certificates, hospice and euthanasia, and advanced surgical care. Diagnostic capabilities include blood and laboratory testing, digital radiography, ultrasound and tonometry. Surgical services include soft tissue procedures, CCL repair, TPLO surgery, orthopedic surgery, mass removals and dental surgery, with modern anesthesia and patient monitoring used throughout procedures. The practice is also able to consult directly with board-certified specialists within a wider clinical network when complex cases would benefit from additional expertise.

Team
The hospital has six DVMs supported by an established paraprofessional team. The practice emphasizes collaboration, compassionate patient care, strong client communication and professional development. Veterinarians work closely with one another and the wider support team, with access to additional clinical resources and specialist consultation to support complex case management and continued development of their medical and surgical skills.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
