Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital that is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its growing and dedicated team. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care to dogs, cats, and pocket pets, including hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, and ferrets. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys building lasting client relationships while delivering high-quality, compassionate care across a diverse small animal caseload.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with the practice closed on Sundays for general practice services. The role is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, with flexibility available to discuss scheduling preferences. This structure supports a balanced workload while maintaining continuity of care for patients and clients.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will play a key role in connecting with clients and their pets, becoming a trusted partner in each pet’s lifelong health journey. From diagnosis through treatment, you will lead patient care with the autonomy to uphold the highest medical standards. The role involves managing a varied general practice caseload, performing routine surgical procedures, and clearly communicating findings and treatment plans to empower clients to make informed decisions. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with support available to help clinicians grow and thrive within the practice.

Services offered include routine surgical procedures, comprehensive dental care, and availability for emergency drop-off cases. When advanced intervention is required, the practice maintains strong relationships with trusted specialists for referral care.

Team
The Associate Veterinarian will join a collaborative team of five DVMs who are committed to providing excellent medical care and supporting one another professionally. The veterinary team is supported by a fantastic group of experienced support staff who contribute to an efficient, positive, and team-oriented working environment. This strong support structure allows veterinarians to focus on patient care while benefiting from teamwork and shared clinical expertise.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
