Our client is a hospital providing care for small animal patients and is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing wellness and preventative care, developing treatment plans, educating clients on healthcare recommendations, and collaborating closely with a skilled support team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Clinical exposure includes wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, advanced medical care, pain management, orthopedics, laser therapy, surgery, dentistry, and health certification services. Surgical procedures include spay and neuter surgeries, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, orthopedic surgery, and dental surgery. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking a flexible part-time opportunity.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service veterinary clinic providing wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, and surgical services for small animal patients. Services offered include pain management, orthopedics, OFA certification evaluations, health certificates, laser therapy, anesthesia, spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, orthopedic surgery, and dental surgery. The practice emphasizes comprehensive patient care supported by advanced diagnostics and modern surgical capabilities. During business hours, the hospital manages a broad range of cases in-house and maintains relationships with referral partners for after-hours trauma support. The culture is focused on professional growth, collaboration, and delivering high-quality veterinary medicine in a supportive environment. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with part-time scheduling options available and the hospital closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
