Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a full-service small animal practice seeking a full-time DVM to join a well-supported, collaborative team. The hospital focuses on delivering high-quality general medicine and surgery for cats and dogs and is proud to be AAHA accredited and affiliated with the Feline Veterinary Medical Association, reflecting its commitment to exceptional standards of care.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday, 9:00am – 6:00pm. The hospital is closed Saturdays and Sundays, offering a consistent four-day work week with no weekend requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role is open to experienced veterinarians or new graduates. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, preventive care, immunizations, parasite control, weight management programs, and wellness testing. The Associate Veterinarian will perform soft tissue surgery, spays and neuters, dentistry including dental X-rays, anesthesia, pain management, hospitalization, and general diagnostics. Additional services include allergy management, geriatric care, EKG, OFA X-rays, ultrasound, and full diagnostic workups. The position also emphasizes strong client communication, collaboration with support staff, and practicing medicine in a Fear Free-aligned environment.

Practice Details
This is an established hospital serving the community for over 30 years and is AAHA accredited as well as affiliated with the Feline Veterinary Medical Association. The facility is equipped with X-ray, ultrasound, VetScan, a full surgical suite, microscope, Cardel monitoring, Doppler, Tonopen, dental X-rays, in-house pharmacy, intensive care capabilities, and hands-free radiology. The hospital supports Fear Free practices and offers Spanish and Hindi language support. Services include preventive care, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, hospitalization, pain management, geriatric medicine, allergy relief, and routine surgical procedures.

Team
The hospital currently has 1 DVM and a great tenured support team, including four technicians and one CSR. The environment is collaborative, experienced, and supportive, with a strong focus on teamwork and quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
