Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to support its growing community. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality, individualized medical care to companion animals while building lasting relationships with clients and patients. Responsibilities include examining animals to assess their health and diagnose conditions, treating and dressing wounds, performing surgery, testing for and vaccinating against diseases, operating diagnostic equipment including x-ray machines, prescribing medications, and advising owners on general care, medical conditions, and treatment plans. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is committed to practicing progressive, high-quality veterinary medicine supported by advanced medical and diagnostic capabilities. Services offered include wellness care, dental care, exotic pet care, surgery, microchipping, diagnostics, end-of-life care, nutrition counselling, and urgent care. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on alternating Saturdays, and is closed on Sundays. Team
The veterinary team consists of three DVMs supported by a tenured support staff. The environment is collaborative, friendly, and dedicated to helping team members succeed while providing outstanding care to patients and clients.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
