Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal practice providing care to dogs and cats. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine within a collaborative and supportive team environment. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a broad range of clinical responsibilities such as wellness exams, preventative care, vaccinations, internal medicine, dentistry, and both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Additional duties include diagnostics, anesthesia, pain management, and managing a mix of routine and more complex medical and surgical cases. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available and opportunities to develop surgical skills. The role also involves building strong client relationships and working closely with the team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Practice Details
Our client is an AAHA-accredited, full-service small animal hospital with over 55 years of service in the community and a strong, long-term client base. The practice is equipped with advanced technology including digital radiology, echocardiography, EKG, ultrasound, diagnostic imaging, and a fully equipped surgical suite. Services offered include advanced dental care, bone and joint surgery, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, preventative care, wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, general surgery, internal medicine, emergency care, hospice care, hospitalization, and pain management. Additional offerings include house calls, an in-house laboratory, and an in-house pharmacy. The hospital utilizes fear-free techniques, including hands-free radiology and gentle handling approaches, to support patient comfort. The practice operates Monday to Thursday 8:00 am–7:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am–6:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am–4:00 pm, and Sunday closed, with flexible scheduling available including a four-day work week for full-time veterinarians.

Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is highly collaborative and supportive, with a strong staff-to-doctor ratio that allows veterinarians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
