Introduction
Our client is a well-established, AAHA-accredited animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This multi-doctor practice provides high-quality care to dogs and cats and is looking for a veterinarian who values collaboration, progressive medicine, and a supportive environment. The hospital welcomes both experienced clinicians and new graduates seeking strong mentorship.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:30pm and on Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm. This position can be full-time or part-time depending on your needs, with no Sunday hours required. The schedule offers stability and work-life balance, supported by a team that values communication and teamwork.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will play an integral role in providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to small animals. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, dermatology, oncology, cardiology, soft-tissue surgery, and advanced dentistry. The role also involves client communication, collaboration with colleagues, and contributing to a professional and positive hospital culture. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who will receive dedicated mentorship.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, dental radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, ECG, EMR, and cold laser therapy. As an AAHA-accredited facility, the practice follows stringent standards for patient care and clinical protocols. Services offered include advanced dental care, dermatology, oncology, cardiology, radiology, ophthalmology, preventative medicine, laser surgery, ultrasound, and soft-tissue surgical procedures.

Team
The practice currently has a team of six veterinarians supported by a brilliant group of skilled and compassionate support staff. The culture is collaborative, growth-focused, and committed to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and team-oriented environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
