Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides care for cats and dogs and is looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive practice environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for treating and diagnosing patients while maintaining a high standard of veterinary care. The role includes performing surgeries, communicating effectively with clients, and building lasting relationships while ensuring the highest level of patient care. The hospital is open to discussing scheduling preferences to create a schedule that suits the successful candidate. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with structured mentorship available to support professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday mornings from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and is closed on Sundays. It is AAHA accredited and offers a range of services including rehabilitation, cold laser therapy, soft tissue surgery, pain management, diagnostics, behaviour, internal medicine, and more. The practice is equipped with radiology, a surgical suite, and additional equipment to support the delivery of high-quality veterinary care.

Team
The team consists of four DVMs supported by a fantastic team of support staff who work together to provide outstanding patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
