Are you looking for a independently owned hospital that gives you complete control on how you want to practice? This hospital are for you! The hospital have been in the community for over 40 years and have a very loyal clientele and staff! The only reason for them needing to recruit a new DVM is due to a DVM retiring, this is the first time in 6 years they are having to hire so as you can imagine they treat their staff VERY well, so much so no one wants to leave! The hospital mostly see small animals but do see a very small percentage of exotics and pocket pets. You are not required to see these, however if you would like too, the option is there. The hospital is equipped with Dental and Digital X-rays, in-house labs and an inhouse pharmacy. They don’t have an ultrasound and have someone come in to do them, however they are looking at purchasing one if the right candidate would want one and use it. If you are also looking for an appointment only position this hospital can also accommodate that. The hospital are open 7 days a week and some weekend work would be required. They also hospitalize their patients if needed but you would not be expected to work overnights they have a team in place already for this.
