Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its three-doctor team. The practice provides comprehensive care across general wellness, preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, internal medicine, and advanced care. The hospital has been AAHA accredited for more than 25 years and offers a flexible full-time schedule. The position is open to experienced veterinarians, new graduates, and current veterinary students.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care across wellness and preventative medicine, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, hospitalization, and client education. The hospital manages a varied general practice caseload with opportunities in soft tissue surgery, orthopedic and bone and joint surgery, advanced dentistry, geriatric medicine, dermatology, urology, pain management, intensive care, and management of conditions including canine and feline diabetes and feline hyperthyroidism. New graduates are encouraged to apply and have access to a structured six-month mentorship program alongside an experienced veterinary team.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the practice closed on Sundays. The facility includes six exam rooms, a dedicated grieving room, a large surgical suite with warming devices and advanced monitoring equipment, a digital radiography room, a designated dental procedure area with heating and monitoring systems, an isolation ward, an in-house pharmacy, and an in-house laboratory capable of CBC, chemistry, FeLV/FIV, and parvovirus testing. Diagnostic capabilities include digital and dental radiography, EKG, echocardiography, Tonopen, and access to additional laboratory diagnostics, with digital radiographs reviewed by a board-certified radiologist. Ultrasound services are also planned. Services include wellness and preventative care, vaccinations, parasite control, dentistry, advanced dental care, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, hospitalization, intensive care, pain management, dermatology, geriatric medicine, health certificates, euthanasia, general and soft tissue surgery, spays and neuters, orthopedic and bone and joint surgery, urology, and management of chronic medical conditions. The hospital also provides grooming and boarding services.

Team
The hospital has three DVMs, including two general practice associates with more than 25 years of experience and a Medical Director experienced in elective surgery, dentistry, and soft tissue procedures. The veterinary team works alongside experienced technicians and veterinary assistants, with several support staff enrolled in veterinary technician training. The hospital emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, continuous learning, and professional development within a friendly and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
