Introduction
Our client is an established small animal hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats across wellness, medical, surgical, dental, diagnostic, and urgent care services. The hospital offers a varied general practice caseload with an emphasis on thoughtful, high-quality medicine and clinical autonomy.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care including preventative visits, diagnostics, treatment planning, ongoing case management, internal medicine, urgent care, surgery, and dentistry. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating a range of medical conditions and injuries, utilizing imaging and laboratory resources to guide clinical decisions, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications, and providing preventative care recommendations. Surgical and dental procedures can be performed based on the veterinarian’s experience and clinical interests. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with opportunities for continued learning and professional development. Doctors work Monday through Friday with no weekend responsibilities.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The facility offers digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, electronic medical records, surgical and dental capabilities, and modern anesthetic and patient-monitoring equipment. Services include wellness and preventative care, dentistry, surgery, spay and neuter procedures, mass and tumor removal, internal medicine, allergy and dermatology care, respiratory care, diagnostics and imaging, laboratory services, urgent care, end-of-life care, microchipping, nutritional guidance, and pharmacy services.

Team
The hospital has four DVMs supported by an experienced technician and support team. The multi-doctor environment allows veterinarians to manage their cases with autonomy while having experienced colleagues available for collaboration and additional perspectives. The team emphasizes collaborative patient care, professional development, and providing high-quality, compassionate medicine.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
