Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Veterinarian within an AAHA-accredited small animal practice. This well-established clinic is seeking a veterinarian to join a supportive, collaborative team that is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and building strong, lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position offering a structured schedule with weekend coverage as part of a shared rota, supporting a balanced and consistent working week.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care, including wellness exams, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and preventative medicine. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgical procedures, communicating effectively with clients, and collaborating closely with the wider team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. The role emphasizes high standards of medicine, strong client communication, and a team-oriented approach to care.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited, Fear Free Certified small animal facility offering a wide range of services including wellness care, vaccinations, senior wellness, dental care, surgery, spay and neuter procedures, microchipping, grooming, and laser surgery and therapy. The practice is equipped with digital radiology and a comprehensive in-house laboratory capable of performing bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal testing, viral screenings, and chemistry panels, enabling timely diagnostics and treatment. The clinic operates within a collaborative network, providing access to additional expertise and supporting continued professional development in a high-standard clinical environment.

Team
The practice includes 3 DVMs supported by a dedicated and collaborative support team. The culture promotes teamwork, mentorship, and ongoing professional growth, creating an environment where veterinarians can thrive while delivering exceptional care to a loyal client base.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
