Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a general practice veterinary hospital located just outside of Fort Worth, Texas, and is currently hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian. The practice delivers high-quality, compassionate veterinary care to dogs and cats and is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join a growing, team-oriented clinical environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is a full-time position. No after-hours or on-call requirements are required.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering comprehensive small animal general practice medicine. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and sick patient exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, spay and neuter procedures, general surgery, preventative dental care, diagnostic testing, mass removals, microchipping, and end-of-life care. The role involves working with a diverse caseload and collaborating closely with the veterinary team to provide consistent, high-quality patient care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians only.
Practice Details
The hospital provides personalized veterinary preventive care and comprehensive medical services for dogs and cats. Services offered include wellness and illness exams, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention, spay and neuter, diagnostic testing including blood, urine, and fecal testing, general surgery, and end-of-life care. The practice culture emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and a strong connection to the local community, supported by access to broader professional resources.
Team
The team currently consists of two DVMs supported by a collaborative and compassionate staff. The hospital environment is centered on a true team approach, where colleagues work closely together to deliver high-quality care and support one another professionally.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
