Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a proudly privately owned practice hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The practice primarily cares for cats and dogs and would be open to expanding into exotics for an experienced exotics DVM.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. The full-time schedule is four days per week plus every other Saturday, with part-time opportunities available from two days per week.

Practice Details
The practice is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays, with appointments running from 8:30am until 5:30pm. The hospital features six exam rooms and is equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment, and Cornerstone EMR. The practice provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, and is open to adding additional services for a confident doctor. Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes, and the practice also accepts drop-off appointments.

Team
The team consists of one full-time veterinarian and one consistent relief veterinarian, supported by a 3:1 support staff to doctor ratio.
