Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital dedicated to treating cats and dogs, currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian. This well-regarded clinic is backed by an excellent 4.7-star Google rating and offers an opportunity to join a supportive environment delivering high-quality veterinary care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including routine and preventative care as well as more advanced clinical work depending on experience and interest. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with support available to help develop clinical skills. Working hours are flexible and open to discussion, with the added benefit of no weekend requirements.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and remains closed on weekends, supporting a strong work-life balance. The clinic is equipped with advanced tools including ultrasound, tonopen, endoscope, and digital X-ray, although equipment is not limited to these. It is an AAHA Accredited and Fear Free Certified Clinic, demonstrating a commitment to high standards of care and patient wellbeing. Services offered include urgent care, tonometry, endoscopy, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, endocrinology, laser therapy, and behaviour counselling, alongside additional services such as pet grooming. The practice fosters a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.
Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a well-tenured and supportive group of support staff, creating a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
