Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its established team in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Caring for dogs and cats, the hospital has served the local community since 1973 and provides comprehensive veterinary medicine within an AAHA-accredited environment. This opportunity is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians looking to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive care from diagnosis through treatment, including wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, urgent care, and surgical procedures. You will build lasting relationships with clients and their pets, clearly communicate clinical findings and treatment plans, and educate owners so they can make informed decisions about their pets’ health. You will work collaboratively with the wider clinical and paraprofessional team while maintaining high standards of patient care. The role is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited, meeting rigorous standards across areas including surgery, patient care, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology. It has served the Fort Walton Beach community since 1973 and has been voted Best Veterinarian on the Emerald Coast, alongside achieving a 4.9-star Google rating. Services include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. Surgical and procedural services include anesthesia, spay and neuter procedures, mass removals, and dental surgery. The hospital provides a varied caseload within a structured and collaborative clinical environment. Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the hospital is closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
